Gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy has advised women going through a divorce never to see their husbands as enemies.
She says especially when there are children between them they should know that they have a covenant and therefore should work together to ensure that they live peacefully.
Ohemaa Mercy made this known when she spoke about her divorce on Accra-based TV3.

” I want to advise everyone. If you’re a woman and you’re going through divorce, your partner is not your enemy. Because of the kids you have a covenant. So I actually have to allow God to lead me through this so that it will be another phase for every woman to emulate.
That if you are going through battles in your marriage and it comes to a point that you are going to divorce understand that you can never be enemies. You have to help each other because of the kids,” she said.
