President of FC Samartex, Richard Nsenkyire, says the club is not perturbed playing against Raja Club Athletic.
The Ghana Premier League side will clash with the Moroccan side in the second round of the preliminary round of games.
The Timber Giants will host Raja on Friday, September 13 at the Accra Sports Stadium before travelling to the North African country for the return on September 20 at the Stade Larbi Zaouli.
However, Dr Nsenkyire says he is not worried playing against the former Champions of the CAF elite competition.
“We are not moved by names, if it is only names, we would not be where we are,” Richard said in an interview with JoySports.
“Nobody gave us a chance when we went to Douala [against Victoria United] but we were able to secure victory and secure victory here [Accra] as well and I can promise Ghanaians that they are going to see football from us.
“We are focused, we are doing our normal training. We are going to take it game by game, it is also another football game.”
Before that, FC Samartex will face FA Cup winners Nsoatreman FC on August 31 in the Champion of Champions clash, followed by their Premier League opener against Dreams FC next month.
