NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia pledges six new 5,000-seater stadiums for new regions

Vice President and 2024 Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has announced plans to construct six new stadiums for the newly created regions if elected President.This promise was made during the launch of the NPP's 2024 manifesto at Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Takoradi on Sunday.The six regions set to benefit from this initiative are Bono East, Ahafo, Western North, Savannah, North East, and Oti. Each stadium will have a seating capacity of 5,000."We will build six 5000 seater capacity stadia fo the new regions the six new regions and we will build a standard stadium for Sunyani because of their love of football and the many clubs in Sunyani," he said."We will promote schools sports by establishing a Ghana schools sports secretariat to create more opportunities for young people in sports and collaborate with international bodies as I said to make Ghana a hub for emerging sports," he added.

This promise was made during the launch of the NPP's 2024 manifesto at Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Takoradi on Sunday.
