Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is expected to join the club’s preseason training on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 following a successful surgery five weeks ago.The Porcupine Warriors commenced preparation for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign on Monday without Ogum.Following the closure of the 2023/24 football season, the former Ghana Premier League winner seized the opportunity to address his health issues before the new season.And his absence, assistant Coach David Dickson Ocloo stepped up admirably, leading the team to beat Hearts of Oak 2-1 in the Democracy Cup.According to Ocloo, the club’s head coach has fully recovered and is expected to join their preseason training on Wednesday.“We were proud of you because your performance against Hearts of Oak was excellent” he said whiles he welcome the team back to preseason.“We’ve started the preseason. Our head coach Ogum will be with us on Wednesday. He is physically fit” he said.Kotoko finished sixth in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League campaign.Ogum led Kotoko to clinch the Ghana Premier League during the 2021/22 season following an impressive performance.But underperformed on his return to the club and will be hoping to change the narrative...
