Accra Lions announce signing of midfielder George Paaku ahead of new season
Accra Lions FC have completed the signing of attacking midfielder George Paaku ahead of the new season.The youngster joins the Accra-based club from their partners Koowa Naso United and is expected to play a huge role in the upcoming campaign.Lions have transferred several players to clubs abroad, however, the acquisition of Paaku is seen as a good replacement for Faris Tahiru, Dominic Amponsah and Yahaya Mohammed.“Accra Lions Football Club has signed George Paaku with immediate effect. The gifted attacking midfielder joins us from our partner club Koowa Naso United” the club wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.Accra Lions, who finished second last season, will begin the campaign with a trip to Tarkwa to face Medeama SC.The team is currently preparing for the Ghana Premier League campaign, which will kick start next weekend.
