The Cyber Crime Authority has announced that the country has recorded 226 online blackmail cases in 2024.
According to the authority, an amount of GHc GHC 112, 209 has been lost as a result of the blackmail.
The Authority has therefore cautioned Ghanaians to be careful of their activities online indicating that they should desist from sharing nudes with lovers they meet especially via social media platforms.
