Event organizers sidelined me for taking part in Sekondi-Taadi demo – Ayesem laments

Recording artiste from Takoradi, Ayesem has complained bitterly about how event organizers sidelined him after he took part in the Sekondi Taadi Deserves Better demo last year.

According to the Ghanaian rapper, most event organizers who used to book him for shows told him that powers from above instructed them not to involve him due to his demo actions.

He revealed in an interview on Cape Coast-based Property FM he confirmed speculations “Yeah partaking in the Sekondi Taadi deserves better demo has affected me in so many ways because I realized that after participating I’ve been sidelined by event organizers.

“Most of the events that I used to perform at which they used to call me and put me on and at times they don’t even call me but they just put me on before they call me,” he added

“But this time around all those shows didn’t happen and according to the event organizers it was instruction from those at the top not to get me involved.

He continued “They said now I’ve joined a political party and I’m embarking on a demo with them but as I said I support anything good from my region I mean anything which is good but not politics”.
