In a spirited endorsement of Dr. Mahamaudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer and current Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Ubor Tossan Konja VI, the paramount chief of Kpassa, expressed unwavering confidence in Bawumia’s potential success in the upcoming December 7 elections.
During a recent courtesy visit as part of Bawumia’s campaign tour in the Oti Region, the chief took the opportunity to publicly support the presidential candidate, asserting that his track record speaks for itself.
“Dr. Bawumia’s accomplishments over the past eight years as Vice President are a clear testament to his capabilities,” Chief Konja stated emphatically.
He further emphasized that the extensive campaigning often deemed necessary in elections might not be essential for Bawumia, suggesting that his mere presence and prior achievements are sufficient to secure victory.
“This tour is not just about campaigning; it’s about connecting with our youth as their future president,” he explained. “I firmly believe he has already secured this win.”
While praising Bawumia, Chief Konja also addressed pressing issues within the Kpassa community, urging the Vice President to prioritize these challenges if elected.
“We have serious concerns that need attention,” he noted, highlighting the poor condition of roads linking vital towns, the absence of district hospitals, and the lack of essential social services. “These are matters that must not be overlooked.
