Wild jubilations as suspended Central Regional NDC Chairman is reinstated

Hundreds of opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) sympathisers including some Parliamentary Candidates of the party on Friday hit streets to celebrate the reinstatement of the suspended Central Regional Chairman of the party, Prof Richard Asiedu.

The supporters were seen with placards with inscriptions such as “We miss you Prof, with Prof Richard Asiedu agenda 20 parliamentary seats is possible, Prof Asiedu is a threat to the NPP in the Central Region, the NDC is highly proud of you, Prof K. Aseidu Central Region under you shall deliver victory for NDC, under you we know every vote will be counted without fear or favour” among others.

Addressing the crowd, the reinstated Chairman, who had been suspended for a month due to anti-party conduct said “My suspension has given me a lesson to work extremely hard to win 60% votes for the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama”.

Prof Kofi Asiedu who spoke in parables about his suspension said “A person cutting the path doesn’t know that it is crooked”.

He assured the party’s sympathizers that Central Regional NDC needs unity to achieve the agenda 20 parliamentary seats and massive wins for Dramani Mahama since it is the swing region”.

In view of this, he appealed to the voters especially NDC party members not to vote  ‘skirt and blouse’ since Dramani Mahama needs more NDC Members of Parliament (MPs) to rule within his next government if he (Mahama) gets the opportunity to serve the people of Ghana.

“The New Patriotic Party(NPP) who were happy about my suspension should be ready for me because I will not sit at my office and work but will hit grounds for house-to-house business”. He served notice.

Prof Kofi Asiedu told supporters of the NDC that their hard work will help the country and the party to record the first female Vice-President in this nation.
