Multiple award-winning musician, Kofi Kinaata has disclosed that he intentionally decided not to do high-tempo danceable songs on his ‘Kofi OO Kofi’ EP.
“I didn’t want my EP to be danceable songs but i just wanted it to be a listening EP and so i felt very free on it without thinking about anything specifically,” he said in a one-on-one interview with Amansan Krakye.
He explained on the show “Maybe like making some of the songs on my EP a speed tempo so that people can dance to it but not at all i just did what i felt like doing”.
According to the ‘Auntie Ama’ crooner, he wanted people to listen to the songs on his Extended Play (EP) instead of dancing to it unlike doing just a single track.
“This is an EP so I have a lot of songs on it unlike a one track where you want to use one stone to kill about 10 birds and touch several things.
“But this EP has seven songs so if you don’t like one of the songs, you might like the songs so i felt free on the songs when recording,” he revealed.
