Head Coach of the Angolan National Team, Pedro Gonçalves, has promised to give Ghana a showdown in Kumasi.
Addressing the press ahead of the September 5 encounter, Coach Pedro Gonçalves acknowledged that playing Black Stars will be tough.
However, he expects his boys to play very well as they have improved over the months.
“The last time it was tough for us because we lost in the last play of the match after a setpiece gave Ghana some lack. Tomorrow is a different story, a different moment. I think both national teams are better right now.
We grow a lot at the moment we are confident not only for the moment but for the future. So for tomorrow will be a tough match but we expect good football. I don’t know about the pitch but it’s a care for myself and my opponent Otto Addo. For sure both teams have good players and good moments so I feel it will be a good promotion for African football tomorrow,” he said while addressing the Press.
Ghana’s Black Stars take on Angola in Kumasi as part of the qualifying series for the 2025 African Cup of Nations.
Ghana is hoping to kickstart the campaign with a win home before they move to Morocco to meet Niger.
