3rd batch of Ministerial appointments: President Mahama appoints Sam George to Communications, Kofi Adams to Sports and Recreation

President John Dramani Mahama has nominated his third batch of ministerial appointments.

Notable among the appointments are Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, who has been nominated as the Minister for Defence, Samuel Nartey George, who will head the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations; and Kofi Iddie Adams, the Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency in the Oti Region, as the Minister-Designate for Sports and Recreation.

A statement signed by the Acting Spokesperson for the President, Felix Kwakye, on Tuesday, 21 January 2025, confirmed the nominations, pending vetting and approval by the Parliamentary Appointments Committee.
