The Technical Director of Medeama Sporting Club, Augustine Evans Adotey has disclosed that the team wanted to win the Ghana Premier League title last season.The team for the first time in the 2022/23 football season clinched its maiden Ghana Premier League title.In the 2023/24 campaign, Medeama SC struggled to compete and only managed an 8th-place finish.Speaking to 3Sports in an interview, Evans Adotey disclosed that the target for Medeama SC last season was to successfully defend the Ghana Premier League title.He said in a campaign where the team competed in the CAF Champions League, it was tough and became impossible to defend the league title at the end of the season.He said after finishing 8th last season, Medeama SC is preparing well in pre-season in hopes of reclaiming the Ghana Premier League title in the 2024/25 football season.
