The Minister for Works and Housing and deputy chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2024 manifesto team, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has made a strong argument on why he believes the people of Ghana should vote and elect the Vice President and presidential candidate of the NPP for the 7 December 2024 elections as President.
In a two-minute, forty-three seconds (2:43) video posted on social media today, Thursday, 7 November 2024, exactly one month to the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who is also the NPP Member of Parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi, raised eight issues that he says he will be expanding on over the next four weeks intending to motivate Ghanaians to choose Dr Mahamudu Bawumia over the NDC candidate, John Mahama.

The eight issues Kojo raises are first, “we need leadership that believes and invest in the youth of Ghana”, second, “we need to protect and improve the Free Senior High School Programme”, third, “we need to improve medical care for our population”, fourth, “the public purse need to be protected”, fifth, “we want the Ghanaian economy to grow”, sixth, “cost of living”, seventh, ” the economy” and finally, “the integrity of Dr Bawumia.”
Mr Oppong Nkrumah further indicated in the video that he will over the next four weeks, take each item and expand on the same. He also noted that the youth who are wondering if they should vote in the upcoming election will be his primary focus in the details he will be sharing over his newly created channel.
