Reports in sections of the local media indicate that a 25-year-old Galamseyer has met his untimely death in an accident.
A truck is said to have run over Osman Iddrisu, who was earlier involved in an accident with another motorbike transporting a man and his sick wife to the hospital.
Reports say Osman Iddrisu was on his way to purchase diesel for his galamsey site when he met his untimely death.
Osman has since been buried in line with Islamic customs and traditions, while the man who was transporting his sick wife to the hospital and his wife are receiving treatment.
