Bobby Smyrniotis, the head coach of Canadian Premier League club Forge FC, has described youngster Kwasi Poku as an example all young Canadian players should emulate.He said this after the Canadian-Ghanaian forward left Forge FC and signed for RWD Molenbeek in the Belgium second tier on a three year deal.The 21-year-old was one of the standout players in the team before his adventure in Europe.“Kwasi is a young player who took his commitment to development and improving seriously,” said the Forge FC head coach and sporting director.“He fought to warrant his place on our roster and in our team, worked to make his mark in the Canadian Premier League and has parlayed the opportunity he earned on home soil into a chance to test himself in a top league in Europe.“His is an example that all up-and-coming Canadian soccer players should strive to follow.
