There was no pressure when I didn’t have a child six years after marriage—Diana Hamilton

Celebrated Gospel musician Diana Hamilton has opened up about waiting for six years before she could get a child of her own.

She is grateful that within the six years, there was no pressure from family among others on why she hadn’t gotten the fruit of the womb.

The musician was speaking to Caleb Nii Boye in an interview when she made this known.

“We had no issues, no pressure, not from my in-laws, not from my side, even my manager was like he walked with me and didn’t know I was looking for the fruit of the womb.

I was the one, myself and my husband wanted it and he didn’t give me pressure, his family didn’t give him pressure, and my family didn’t give us pressure. All they did was pray for us. But obviously you are a woman; you’ve been married, first year, second, third, fourth. By the second year, you are worried, by the third, you’re crying, by the fourth, it is worrisome and then you get a few odd comments here and there that will shake you a bit.

When I meet people who are going through that I tell them to trust God, that’s the first thing because his word says there shall be no barren in his house and so at the right time God will answer. I also tell them that between the time I’m talking to them and the time that God comes through for them, they have to enjoy their marriage in that it is the time that they are alone because when the children come in it will never be the same again. Then also pray,” she said.
