The Ghana Police Service has announced that there were no disturbances after the recollation of results in the parliamentary election of Nsawam Adoagyiri.
According to the police, the video that has since gone viral is an old video that does not represent the commentary attributed to it.
The incident in the video, according to the police, happened on December 8, 2024 and is currently under investigation.
Incumbent Member of Parliament, Frank Annor Dompreh was declared the winner of the 2024 elections by the Electoral Commission after weeks of the results being disputed.
The declaration done on Saturday, December 21, 2024, has, however, been described as illegal by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
