The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has condemned the decision by the Speaker of Parliament to suspend three of their members without giving them a fair hearing.
According to the party, the move by the Speaker is just meant to cow the minority in Parliament into submission and weaken its potential to hold the government accountable.
To the political party, the decision by the Speaker is not constitutional, and therefore, throw its weight behind their MPs calls for a reversal of the decision.
