The student of O’Reilly Senior High School who stabbed and killed his colleague on the school’s premises has been remanded for two weeks by the La District Court.
According to reports, the court did not accept his plea and has asked him to return to the court on September 19.
The decision to remand the student whose name has been withheld is to give the police the opportunity to further investigate the matter.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Education Service has assured the general public of its administrative investigation into the matter.
The service, in a statement last week, called for calm and asked that the general public avoid speculations on the matter.
