NPP’s manifesto launch was a ‘Concert Party’ – Asiedu Nketiah mocks  NPP

National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has described the New Patriotic Party (NPP) manifesto launch at Takoradi last Saturday as a “concert party”.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) officially launched their manifesto for the 2024 elections yesterday with its Flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia promising Ghanaians what he will do when voted into power.

During an interview on Okay FM with Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, Asiedu Nketia stated that Dr Bawumia is known for being a liar. He stated that his track record of being inconsistent in his promises makes him questionable.

According to him, Dr Bawumia and his government promised to deal with sole sourcing of contracts when they came into power and other promises he made have all become worse in their regime.

“If you want to vote, vote for a leader you can trust. Check his promises out to see if he can fulfil them. You are in government now, and all the promises you made have still not materialized.

You promised to arrest the dollar, and you said you would manage the economy, it’s been 8 years everything is in jeopardy. Ghana is in serious debt because of you and your government.” He observed.
