A 60-year-old man, Kwame Atuah is in the grips of the police for slashing the face of a resident of New Edubiase in the Ashanti Region with a razor blade.
MyNewsGh.com gathered that the suspect and the victim identified as Akwasi Tawiah were engaged in heated verbal confrontation and in the process tempers flared..
The suspect reached out for a razor blood and slashed the face of the victim but was stopped by onlookers who arrested in and handed him to the police.
Akwasi Tawiah and was rushed to St. Benito hospital for treatment and his currently on admission at the same facility.
Police in the area have confirmed after visiting the victim that he suffered multiple wounds on the face and issued him with a medical report for endorsement.
Meanwhile , Suspect Kwame Atuah is in custody and would be arraigned before court on charges of causing harm.
