Otto Addo has expressed his excitement following his return as Black Stars head coach.The former Ghana international who masterminded the country's qualification to the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar was reappointed in March earlier this year on a 34-month deal with an option of a 24-month deal.Speaking in an interview, the 45-year-old shared his delight after his reappointment."It’s a good feeling! I knew most of the boys from the last World Cup, but it’s also good to see new Ghanaian talents coming up," he told FIFA media."It's very interesting to work with them, so it’s been good seeing them," he added.Otto Addo has so far recorded two wins in his competitive games against Mali and Central African Republic (CAR) in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.The Black Stars will return to action in September for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying games against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium before a trip to Niger in their Group F games.
