Education Minister Designate, Haruna Iddrisu, has assured Ghanaian teachers of improving their conditions.
However, the improvement is subject to what the economy will provide for considering where Ghana’s economy is.
“We will improve the conditions of teachers to the extent that the economy can do,” he said when he took his turn during vetting on January 20, 2025.
Apart from improving life, he intends to ensure that access and quality will be the focus of tertiary education in the country, indicating that they will expand infrastructure.
“Access, quality and relevance will be our focus in tertiary education,” he said.
