Ghanaian rapper Armstrong Afum, better known as Dadie Opanka, has given fans a glimpse of his bold career shift.
The artist has temporarily stepped away from his music career to explore new opportunities in the United States that he believes will positively impact his life.
Upon his return to Ghana, Opanka was interviewed by ace media personality Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, where he opened up about his new ventures and how he’s reshaping his career.
“I’ve been blessed with a lot of opportunities, and now it’s time to give back by sharing some of my experiences,” Opanka said during the interview.
“For the time being, I have paused my music career to explore a different path.
“I’ve taken on the role of a financial advisor, where I help individuals achieve their financial goals with tax-free services.
“It’s a fulfilling role that aligns with my passion for guiding people toward success.”
The rapper explained that he has always been fascinated by the financial world and felt compelled to delve deeper into it.
“I realized there are many opportunities out there that could help people, especially within the area of personal finance. It’s a chance to do something meaningful outside of music,” he added.
Opanka’s shift from the music scene to a more finance-driven career is seen by many as a surprising move, but for the artist, it’s a natural progression towards exploring new avenues that complement his skill set and long-term aspirations.
