Former Ghana FA Chairman Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has warned that any attempt to extend the term in office of a Ghana Football Association President will be challenged.
According to him, Ghanaians tend to be more corrupt when they get power, hence the decision to have only two terms for a Ghana Football Association president.
Therefore any attempts by certain individuals to topple the statute to serve their personal agenda will not be countenanced.
Nyaho Tamakloe who spoke to Graphic Sports said “Positions tend to corrupt people in this country, and when you extend the term, the corruption becomes even worse.
I was the architect of the two-term limit for the FA presidency, and I will not allow anyone to topple the statute to serve their personal agenda. If they attempt to change the tenure, I will fight it with all my strength.”
