Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor, popularly known as Mama G, recently opened up about her remarkable journey to success during a pre-premiere dinner for Funke Akindele’s upcoming movie ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’.

In an emotional speech, the celebrated actress shared the sacrifices she made to ensure her family’s survival before rising to fame in the entertainment industry.

“I used to go to the mortuary to dress dead bodies so my children could go to school and eat,” Mama G revealed, her voice filled with emotion. She spoke of the many odd jobs she undertook to provide for her family, underscoring the deep love and determination that drove her efforts. “I did a lot of things to make my family what they are today,” she added with pride.

Her heartfelt story touched everyone present, offering a glimpse into the strength and resilience required to overcome life’s challenges.
