Herman Chinery-Hesse to be buried 2 November

He died in the small hours of Tuesday morning (17 September 2024) after a short illness.

Chinery-Hesse, often described as “the Bill Gates of Africa”, was recently honoured by the technology giant Google, which named a meeting room at its headquarters after him.

Burial and memorial service for the late tech giant will be held at Graceland Memorial Park in Berekusu, near Ashesi University in the Eastern Region.
