Elsewhere,Gold Stars FC dropped points at home after drawing 0-0 against Dreams FC the Duns Park in Bibiani on Sunday.
The two teams failed to score as they shared the spoils in an entertaining draw. Gold Stars have opened a three-point lead with 19 points while Dreams remain in the bottom three.
Basake Holy Stars recorded an impressive 2-2 draw at Berekum Chelsea.
Emmanuel Sarpong put the hosts in the lead in the 45th minute before Stephen Awuah Baffour pulled parity for visitors.
