Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan has opened up about coaching boyhood club Asante Kotoko in the future.Gyan, who is Ghana’s all-time leading scorer with 51 goals and also the highest African scorer in World Cup history missed out the chance to play for the Ghanaian giants on his return to the locale scene.The former Black Stars striker, who called it a quick back in October 2023 joined Legon Cities during the 2021/22 season to mark his return to the domestic football for the first time since 2003 when he left Liberty Professionals for greener pastures.Before joining Legon Cities, many had tipped Gyan to join Asante Kotoko.Having missed out the chance to play for Kotoko, the former Sunderland star in an interview with UTV monitored by Footballghana.com said he will gladly accept Kotoko’s coaching job in the future in only he is into coaching.Asked if he will be willing to coach Kotoko in future, he said, “Why not?
