GFA President Kurt Okraku hails Parliamentarians for investing in Ghana football

Kurt Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has praised Members of Parliament (MPs) for their direct investments in Ghana's football scene.Several MPs own clubs across various tiers of Ghanaian football, including Hon. Ignatius Baffour-Awuah (Sunyani West), owner of Premier League Club and 2023-24 MTN FA Cup Champions Nsoatreman FC, and Hon. Haruna Iddrisu (Tamale South), who owns Steadfast FC.Other notable mentions include Hon. Ameyaw Kyeremeh (Sunyani East), owner of Baffour Soccer Academy, and Hon. Peter Amewu (Hohoe), President of Hohoe United. Okraku expressed his gratitude during the GFA's Meet the Press event held at the Eusbett Hotel in Sunyani on Friday, August 9."I want to commend and thank MPs who are directly investing in football," Okraku said."It is heart-warming to see that a lot more are joining the effort to give hope to footballers across the length and breadth of the country." he added.
