Dr Edward Omane Boamah has been approved by the Parliament of Ghana.
He will now be waiting to be sworn in by the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama.
His approval comes after the house debated the ninth report of the Appointments Committee.
Dr Omane Boamah was vetted on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, and becomes the 8th nominee to be approved this week.
On Wednesday, January 29, Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Minister-designate for North East Region, Tia Ibrahim and Ashanti Regional Minister-designates, Dr Frank Amoakohene were approved awaiting their swearing-in.
Similarly, the Upper East Regional minister-designate, Akamugri Atanga Donatus was among the nominees who were also approved pending swearing-in by President Mahama.
The President is hoping to put his team together to kickstart his resetting agenda to make Ghana better.
