Ernest Adade, the communication team member of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) has opined that the victory of Donald Trump does not mean John Mahama is coming back to as President.
During an interview on Metro TV monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Ernest Adade disclosed that per credible polls available to him, he is confident that the NPP is winning the elections.
According to him, the American elections does not determine Ghana elections hence John Mahama will not win this year’s elections, describing Donald Trump as a strong person who bounced back strong although he had a lot of cases he was facing in the previous years.
“I see Trump to be a very strong character and that kind of person, no matter what you throw against him, he was still standing. He didn’t care what was said about him. In Ghana people will tag you as arrogant. But in America, they appreciate strong characters. “ He argued.
He then emphasized that the NPP is not preparing to rig the elections but rather campaigning, stating that it is a strong party and that is not moved by what people say.
While disclosing that before the ruling party started its campaign, some people assumed that the party has lost the elections in advance, he noted that per the credible polls he has available, it shows that the NPP is in the lead.
“As I am speaking to you now, credible post polls I have confidence in, is telling me that the NPP is in the lead. The polls are telling me that Dr Bawumia is in the lead. If anyone comes with any other poll, its false. I am telling you in authority that this poll show Dr Bawumia is in the lead”, he reiterated.
