Music Manager, Bulldog has said that it was needless for the Reverend Father Peter Kusi Twumasi, Acting Rector of St Stephen Rectorate of Bodomase of the Catholic Diocese of Konongo-Mampong who sang King Paluta’s song in his church to render an apology.
It would be recalled that Father Peter Kusi Twumasi, rendered an unqualified apology for singing King Paluta’s song in church.
The video went viral triggering reactions from social media users, the catholic priest came out later to react with a press statement rendering an apology to the public for his action.
During a discussion on UTV’s United Showbiz, Bulldog stated that there’s nothing wrong with a man of God singing a worldly song. He emphasized that the same worldly people are the target of the kingdom of God; hence the apology from the catholic priest for singing King Paluta’s song was needless.
“I believe the catholic priest apologized for singing King Paluta’s song in the church because of people’s comments and some backlashes on social media. Because this press statement was needless. He didn’t commit any crime by singing that song but his paymaster was pressuring him to write the statement”.
