A tragic incident on the Buduburam stretch of the Accra-Winneba highway has led to the deaths of four people.
Reports indicate that the deaths were caused by a rock blasted by a construction company working on the road.
The rock was blasted for a few seconds after several vehicles on the stretch were halted for the activity to take place.
This is not the first time rock has been blasted.
Residents of the area indicate that over time, anytime the construction company blasts the rock, it causes damage to roofing sheets.
Some residents who were angry about the incident attacked workers of the company working on that stretch.
Meanwhile, the Chinese leading the blas has been arrested.
