Ghana FA Communication Director Henry Asante Twum has confirmed that Black Stars coach Otto Addo and his two assistants, John Paintsil and Fatawu Dauda, are experiencing body pains but escaped without cuts or serious injuries following the road accident.The accident occurred on Sunday while the coaching team was returning from Tarkwa after observing the Champion of Champions match between FC Samartex 1996 and Nsoatreman FC.According to Asante Twum, the team had been on an official assignment, and the accident happened when a Tundra vehicle veered into their lane, hitting the car carrying the Black Stars technical team."We took them to the hospital after they landed at the airport. They did scans and check up so fortunately they didn’t get physical wounds or cuts they are complaining about some pains John Paintsil was complaining about his waist and his back, Fatawu said his ribs and Otto too said his chest and his back," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com"The medics were on them yesterday till they were discharged and they came to the hotel and the Black Stars medical team took over.
