Bawumia will deliver on sports promises if elected President – Hon. Yahaya Kassim Atta
Hon. Yahaya Kassim Atta, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Amasaman, has expressed strong confidence that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer for the 2024 elections, will fulfill his promises regarding sports development.Speaking on Mothers 102.7 FM, he assured Ghanaians that Bawumia’s commitment to sports is genuine and extensive.“He’s committed to everything he says about sports. He’s promised to build 5,000-seater stadiums in the six newly created regions and has already initiated the construction of over 150 astroturfs as Vice President. I have no doubt he will do even more when elected,” Kassim Atta stated.During the NPP’s 2024 manifesto launch in Takoradi, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia highlighted key sports initiatives, including upgrading pitches of existing stadia, setting up a sports fund, launching Operation Olympics for the 2028 LA Games, and supporting the Ghana Premier League with infrastructure and resources. His vision, Kassim Atta believes, will transform Ghanaian sports if given the mandate on December 7th.
