Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of forward Albert Amoah from Accra Great Olympics on a three-year deal.
Albert Amoah,22, had an impressive season last year, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 17 games. His
attacking prowess and play making ability make him a valuable addition to our team as we aim to improve our squad for the upcoming season.
Head Coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his excitement about Amoah’s signing, stating, “Albert is a
player who brings a lot of energy and creativity to the field. His ability to both score and set up goals makes him
a versatile forward that will fit well into our tactical plans. We have been following his progress closely, and we
believe he has the potential to make a significant impact at Kotoko. We are delighted to welcome him to the club,” he told the club’s media.
Albert Amoah also shared his enthusiasm about joining Kotoko, saying, ” I am thrilled to be here. I know Kotoko has had great strikers in the past, but now it is my time to build upon their legacy. While I may
make mistakes and have off days, I urge the supporters to continually encourage me to strive for excellence.”
The transfer was announced just 24 hours after the signing of Saaka Dauda, the 24-year-old captain of Bofoakwa Tano and 21-year-old left back Patrick Asiedu from Berekum Chelsea. Albert put pen to paper a three year deal.
Saaka Dauda, a dynamic and influential midfielder, has been a revelation for Bofoakwa Tano and becomes our 7th acquisition this transfer window.
A native of Nalerigu, Dauda’s impressive performance saw him net eight goals and provide three assists in the Ghana Premier League.
Despite his young age, Asiedu has amassed nearly 50 appearances in Ghana’s top-flight league, showcasing his experience and reliability on the field.
