Antoine Semenyo, Tariq Lamptey & others report to Black Stars camp for Angola and Niger matches

The Black Stars have officially opened camp in Accra ahead of Ghana’s first two games in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament qualifiers. Ghana this month will take on Angola and Niger in separate games as part of the qualifiers for the next edition of the continental showpiece.Last Thursday, Ghana head coach Otto Addo announced his squad for the two games and handed call-ups to some top stars including Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, and Thomas Partey.On Sunday night, seven of the invited players reported to the camp of the Black Stars ahead of the team’s first training session.The players already in camp include Tariq Lamptey, Joseph Wollacott, Ibrahim Osman, Jonas Adjetey, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, and Frederick Asare.More players are expected to report to camp on Monday morning before coach Otto Addo oversees the first Black Stars training session later in the evening.Ghana will face off with Angola on Thursday, September 5 before taking on Niger away from home on September 9.

The Black Stars have officially opened camp in Accra ahead of Ghana’s first two games in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament qualifiers.

Last Thursday, Ghana head coach Otto Addo announced his squad for the two games and handed call-ups to some top stars including Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, and Thomas Partey.

On Sunday night, seven of the invited players reported to the camp of the Black Stars ahead of the team’s first training session.
