Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, the President and Founder of the award-winning Ghanaian business firm Afro-Arab Group of Companies has been featured in CEO Times Magazine among the 50 Top African CEOs.
Ambassador Amadu, a natural-born businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, founded the Afro-Arab Group in 2007 at the age of 20. His company is involved in finance, real estate and construction, import and export, and general trading of goods and services.
He holds several ambassadorial roles, including One Young World Ambassador, Africa Assembly for Peace Ambassador, Zarbarma Youth Ambassador, and Zongo Youth Ambassador for Peace and Development, extending his influence beyond Ghana to make a significant impact across Africa and globally.
The CEO Times Magazine highlighted Ambassador Amadu’s leadership and initiatives, commending him for championing Sustainable Development Goal 11 and empowering women and youth across the Zongo communities. A hallmark of his leadership is his dedication to social intervention projects.
His initiative for providing microcredit to the poor and needy has empowered countless individuals. Additionally, his housing project “Everyone Can Buy a House,” offering houses with long-term, interest-free payment plans, supports sustainable development.
Through the Yaa Salaam Opportunity Center, the social corporate responsibility arm of the Afro-Arab Group, Ambassador Amadu has also provided free health insurance for 5,000 children within the East and North Ayawaso Municipal Assembly in Ghana under the “One Child, One Health Insurance” project.
