Akufo-Addo hears or sees no evil   – Lawyer Edudzi Tamaklo

Lawyer Godwin Edudzi Tamaklo, Director of Legal Affairs of the opposition National Democratic Congress ( NDC) has slammed  President  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over his silence on the galamsey menace.

Edudzi Tamakloe reacted to the recent comment made by Dr Nana Ayew Afriyie, Member of Parliament(MP) of Effiduase-Asokore Constituency about galamsey, blaming the President for not condemning the comment of the lawmaker

“There is something called, leadership response. It is the body language of the leader that will tell his subordinates whether to take him seriously or not. There’s a situation where the Regional Minister for Western Region, the chairman of REGSEC, and NPP MP for Takoradi met with galamseyers together with Ernest Frimpong tells the galamseyers that when the operation GalamStop forces come around, attack them. He should have been sacked. The President has this thing, hear no evil, see no evil. So we will still be where we are.” He claimed

According to Edudzi, Mireku Duker who is the Mining Coordinator of Dr Bawumia likewise Dr Nana Ayew Afriyie who is the Coordinator of the middle belt all claimed that the opposition brought Togolese to Ghana to destroy the water bodies.

He then questioned the President why he was not able to protect the borders as the Commander in Chief of the Ghana Arm forces if the claims were true.
