A late goal from Angola’s Milson ended Ghana’s 24-years unbeaten run at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
Black Stars started the game threatening the goal area of the Angola team with players like Semenyo, Kudus, Partey and Jordan Ayew creating problems for their defence.
However, all chances that came their way were wasteful due to the bad nature of the pitch.
Angola who came to the game for a win defended to prevent the attack of the Black Stars from causing any upset.
However, a feeble clearance by Abdul Mumin in the dying embers of the game gave Angola the only goal on the day.
Black Stars will meet Niger in Morocco on Monday in a must win match.
