Coach Otto Addo will announce Black Stars squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying opening games today.

Ghana will host Angola in their Group F opener on September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium before travelling to play Niger away in four days.

However, Otto Addo is expected to announce a 26-man squad for the games today at the premises of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) at noon. The team will open camp in Accra before jetting off to Kumasi for the game.

Otto Addo submitted his squad for the games to the Executive Council of the country's football governing body last week ahead of the games as revealed by Footballghana.com.

Footballghana.com also understand that no Ghana Premier League player has been included in the squad for the games.
