In a generous act of philanthropy and commitment to education, Prof. Patience Aseweh Abor, Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), has donated 50 mono desks to Presby Junior High School in Yapei. This gesture, made to mark her birthday, aims to improve the learning environment for students and encourage academic excellence.

The presentation of the desks was held at the school premises, where Prof. Abor, a proud alumna of Presby JHS, emphasized the importance of quality education in shaping the future of students. "This donation is my way of giving back to the school that played a significant role in my academic and professional journey. I hope these desks will motivate students to focus on their studies and aspire to achieve great things in life," she said during the handover ceremony.

The headteacher of Presby JHS expressed deep gratitude for the donation, noting that the desks would address a critical need and significantly enhance the classroom experience for both students and teachers. "We are extremely thankful to Prof. Abor for her generosity. Her donation will go a long way in alleviating the challenges we face with classroom furniture," he remarked.

Students of the school also expressed excitement and appreciation, pledging to make the most of the improved learning conditions. Many described Prof. Abor's act as inspiring and said it has motivated them to work harder to reach their goals.
