Lonhro was a famous Australian champion racehorse. He was from the first crop of the champion Octagonal out of the Group One-placed Shadea, who also produced the Group One winner Niello. 

Lonhro, a champion Aussie racehorse, blazed across tracks for five years. Nicknamed “The Black Flash,” he left a trail of victories in his wake.

From the age of two, Lonhro dominated, winning 26 races, a whopping 74% of the time.

He even conquered prestigious Group One races eleven times, distances a breeze for this versatile champion. Lonhro’s retirement wasn’t the end.
