Anthony Karbo, a member of Vice President Bawumia's campaign team, affirmed the party's determination to triumph despite the challenges posed by competing candidates.

The by-election in Ejisu was necessitated by the sudden passing of John Kumah, who served as the constituency's MP. As the electoral process unfolds, six candidates are vying for the vacant seat, representing a diverse range of political affiliations.

Esther Osei represents the Convention People's Party (CPP), Kwabena Boateng stands for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and Beatrice Boakye represents the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG). Additionally, independent candidates Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, Fredua Agyeman Joseph, and Joseph Atakora are also contesting for the parliamentary position.

In an interview on the Asaase Breakfast Show, Anthony Karbo emphasized the NPP's resolve to emerge victorious in the by-election, despite facing challenges from formidable opponents. Reflecting on the late John Kumah's contributions to the party, Karbo underscored the importance of honoring his memory by ensuring NPP's success in Ejisu.

"We have been calling over the last weeks on party people to stand up for Ejisu, NPP, and the candidate who has been chosen by the party to ensure that we give honor to the late John Kumah for his significant contribution to the party," Karbo stated.

Karbo's remarks echo the sentiments of the NPP, which remains steadfast in its commitment to clinch victory in Ejisu. However, he cautioned against complacency and emphasized the importance of continued vigilance until the ballots are counted.

"I'm confident that the NPP will win. But until the ballots are counted, we will continue to maintain our stance that we stand the best chance to annex the seat," Karbo affirmed.

As Ejisu prepares to cast its votes, the stakes are high, with the outcome of the by-election poised to shape the political landscape of the constituency. With the memory of John Kumah serving as a guiding force, the NPP remains resolute in its quest for electoral success, poised to honor his legacy through a triumphant victory at the polls.
