Zero slums in Ashaiman, only skyscrapers – Akpaloo promises

Presidential Candidate for the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Mr Percival Kofi Akpaloo, has promised the residents of Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region that if elected as President, he will transform the whole township of Ashaiman with a proper housing system including skyscrapers.

While speaking to some media men after he paid a visit to Ashaiman to campaign, he disclosed that if he is elected as President he will build skyscrapers in the constituency that will help transform the constituency.

According to the Kofi Akpaloo, these skyscrapers will serve as projects which will demolish all the slums in the Ashaiman township and build chamber and hall residential facilities which will be affordable for all.

While sharing his vision, Akpaloo said “We are promising them that we are going to build skyscrapers here to turn this area into something like a project area whereby everybody will get a chamber and hall so that there won’t be slums here. We want to turn the slums into affordable housing projects.”

Aside from this, Kofi Akpaloo further promised to re-construct the roads in Ashaiman, stating that he will fix all the roads which are full of potholes.

“The major problem here in Ashaiman is the lack of good roads. They don’t have good roads. So when I become President, we want to promise them that we’re going to build good roads for them. So that all the roads in Ashaiman will be motorable. They won’t see any potholes on their roads any longer when I become president.” He reiterated.
