We’ve been aware of schemes against Guru even before we filed – Campaign Team

Manager of Maradona Adjei Yeboah know popularly as Guru’s campaign manager, Andy Dot Com has said that they are aware of schemes against their candidate even before they filed to contest for the election.

To the campaign team, these schemes do not deter them as they are focused on the Ultimate goal.

They intend contest the decision to disqualify their candidate as they argue it does not make sense.

Andy Dot Com spoke to Accra-based Radio Univers.

“The disqualification hasn’t affected us, and we’re not surprised either. We knew they started scheming against him long before he even filed to contest. This is just the culmination of their plan,” he remarked.

Guru is fully qualified to contest in the UGSRC elections. He has the right to vote and to be voted for. Disqualifying him solely based on his non-residential status is unjustified.

There’s an incumbent executive who was non-resident when he contested last year, so what’s different now? This seems like a deliberate move against Guru. We have handed it over to our legal team to explore legal action,” he said.
