We will settle on Accra or Kumasi for our CAF Champions League games - FC Samartex General Manager, Edmund Ackah
The General Manager of FC Samartex, Edmund Ackah has hinted that they are considering playing their playing their CAF Champions League home games in Accra or Kumasi.Having clinched the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, Samartex will represent Ghana in the CAF elite inter-club competition in the 2024/25 season.Speaking in an interview, the veteran football administrator revealed the board of the club is yet to meet to finalize the decision on where they will play their home games."For now, we are considering our games at the Accra Sports Stadium or the Baba Yara Stadium," Edmund Ackah told Asempa FM as monitored by Footballghana.com."The Board is yet to meet but the final decision will be made and we will know the forward as to when we have to start preparations for our CAF Champions League campaign," he added.FC Samartex were declared champions of the season with two games to end the season. They went on to finish the season with 61 points.Meanwhile, Nurudeen Amadu is expected to lead the side for their maiden campaign in the CAF Champions League.
