Vice Presidential candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has urged the party faithful and all who love Ghana to work assiduously at ensuring that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) retains power.
According to him, this is imperative because it will be worrying that John Dramani Mahama will be brought back to power as he will derail all the achievements made by the current government.
Napo, as he is affectionately called, made this known in a post shared via social media after his visit to the Tain constituency.
His post shared via social media read, “This afternoon, I received a warm and unforgettable welcome in the famous Tain constituency—a clear testament to Tain’s unwavering support for the elephant.
I encouraged our dedicated party faithful and the broader community to work tirelessly toward a Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia victory. Such a victory is essential to safeguard our achievements and prevent a one-term president with a blank cheque from undoing our progress.
The NPP stands on the brink of a historic win in both the presidential and parliamentary elections here in Tain.
